Helpful background on how we work. For anything specific to your project, the best next step is a quick site visit and a written quote.

A driveway starts with excavating the existing surface, then building and compacting a sub-base to take the load. Edging is set to hold everything in place, the surface is laid to clean lines, and the area is jointed and cleaned down. The groundwork is the part that determines how well it lasts.

We plan the layout around how you'll use the space and where it connects to the house and garden. The area is excavated, a compacted base is laid, and falls are set so water drains away from the building. The paving is then laid to even joints, pointed and cleaned.

It covers the wider outdoor work that ties a space together — paths, paved areas, steps, edging and the tidying of surrounding garden areas. The aim is a consistent, low-maintenance finish where the driveway, patio and paths feel like one considered space rather than separate jobs.

We start with a site visit to look at the space, access and what you want to achieve. From there we provide a clear written quote that sets out the work and what's included, so you know the scope before anything begins. You can request a quote through the Get a Quote page.

We focus on South Dublin, including Dundrum, Sandyford, Stillorgan, Blackrock, Foxrock, Cabinteely, Dalkey, Killiney, Ballinteer, Churchtown, Mount Merrion, Leopardstown and Stepaside. If you're nearby and unsure, just ask.

It helps to think about how you want to use the finished space, any access constraints for machinery and materials, and rough dimensions if you have them. Photos of the existing area are useful too. We'll cover drainage, levels and materials together during the site visit.
